Dr. Aleshea Jenkins- Assistant Principal

 

 

​​It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new assistant principal at Townsend Elementary School.  I look forward to rejoining the Townsend Tiger Family and contributing to a safe, positive environment that leads to student achievement.  I'm excited to begin this learning adventure with our staff, students, and families. 

 

The 2026-2027 school year will be my 21st year in education and my 18th in HSD. As a Hazelwood School District alumnus, resident, and parent, I am committed to ensuring our district remains a premier learning environment for all students.  My goal is to be a visible, supportive, and approachable leader to create an environment where students, families, and staff feel respected and valued. Whether it's celebrating successes, solving challenges together, or simply offering a listening ear, I want everyone to know that my door is always open.
